I'm sure it will clear up Robin, just keep an eye on it. I
must have read the same atricle you are speaking of because I
did the same thing a few years ago. I put a collar with a bell
on Newton. One morning I saw her having trouble walking and
she had a fromt toenail caught in the bell. I've heard also
that because ferrets like to worm their way through crevaces
they might catch the collar on something, roll to get loose
and choke. I avoid collars now, besides ferrets are more
widespread these days and there is a better chance that people
will know that a loose ferret is someone's pet.
