Subject: growth on vulva

Hi all,

I just dropped off Yen (3yrs) at the vets today she is having a
growth removed from her chest. A few days ago we noticed she was
either having some swelling on her vulva or some sort of growth. When
I dropped her off today I pointed this out to the vet, he said it was
a growth and not swelling and he would remove it today while he was
removing the other growth on her chest. My question, is this a common
place for ferrets to get growths? (or can and do they get them
anywhere) Will it be the same kind of growth as on her chest? They
don't look the same. The one on her chest is very round and firm the
other on her vulva has a different shape and is soft. Should we have
both growths biopsies or just one of them?
Thanks
Jen
