I can't get to it right now, but ferret liver values can be a bit
confusing so in

there is a section that can help with interpreting them. I think that
it is within a section titled something like "Things Every Vet
should Know" . Worth seeing in case there are conclusions
being drawn from aspects that mould look abberent for a cat or
dog but are fine for a ferret.
Given the tarry stools have you considered ulcers? There is a lot
in past posts on handling those. The search engine at

will find you a weath of info.
