Subject: 8 yr old ferret with weak hind quarter
I want to thank all of those that responded to my plea for help
........Dagger died last Tue. he had a tumor removed from his neck
a month earlier and it healed slow but healed fine unfortunately as
the vet was eliminating what could cause his weakness he was getting
worse day by day and then refused to eat even when "forced to"
Dagger had a brain tumor that ravaged his brain so fast and deadly
was this tumor that with in 24 hr. at the vets I did not recognize
him his eyes where blank and he did not recognize me he was having
seizures that were so hard and rapid that all he could do was scream
......I am a Vietnam vet and thought I had been through hell but
nothing prepared me for what had to be done. After the vet had put
Dagger down his pain was over .......If you ever find a small lump
on your ferret PLEAS get it looked at ASAP
