Metronidazole also called Flagyl, is the most hidious tasting stuff you
can imagine. It creates so much stress in the ferret that they are
likely to grow ulcers. My vet has said flat out that he is not going to
give it to a ferret again. It's not an actual antibiotic, but an
anti-protozoan
