Subject: Re: Low BG, no other symptoms?

Hello Nicole-
I am not a vet -- but my research has shown that periodontal disease can
cause these illnesses: kidney disease, cardiomyopathy, splenomegaly ,
etc. The foul mouth is most probably an indicator of renal failure we have
experienced that symptom with a number of renal failure residents. I
would recommend advise a blood test, antibiotics and of course a vet exam
is required to determine best course of action.

Dehydration is a common occurence in kidney disease subjects. Sub-q
fluids will often provide a cleansing which will last short term- but
definitely some aggressive antibiotic and diagnostic regimen would be advised.
