Subject: Help! Reaction to distemper shot
Please help if anyone is out there. I took my ferrets to get their distemper
shot this morning at 11:00 am. It is now 9:00 and one of my ferrets has
pooped all blood. He also threw up once. I called an emergency hospital near
me and they said to take away his food for tonight and see what he is like
tomorrow morning. This doesnt seem right to me. What should I do? I'm scared
to take him to a vet that doesnt know how to treat him. Should i give him
pedialyte? Please, any response is greatly appreciated.
