My wife has rheumatoid arthritis and for 8 years she took methatrexate
and prednisone for it. It tended to modify her immune response and she
developed little white areas in the corner of her mouth. They changed
her to Arava instead of the other two drugs, but the white spots remain.
They tell her it is a yeast infection. They have not been able to cure
it and probably wont as long as her immune system is compromised. I
wonder it her ferret has a little yeast infection in it's mouth.
