Hi Jen,
My vet's office uses Cornell for this too. I believe at Cornell,
they test only the estradial. This is typically what is elevated in
adrenal ferrets and can be a good and less expensive diagnostic
tool. BUT, if it comes back within normal range, that does not mean
that it isn't adrenal. Likewise with the entire U of Tennessee
Panel. The price difference is substantial - like over a hundred
dollar difference. I think that's what your vet was planning to do
with Cornell. Hope this helps!
