Subject: liver tumor
I just rescued a 6y/o DEW that has a really hard abdomen. I work
for a vet that doesn't treat ferrets but she did an x-ray and it
looks like a huge tumor on his liver. I have an appt. with a ferret
vet but wondered if anyone has had any experience with this type of
thing. He is eating/drinking/urinating/defecating normally. I have
him isolated from the others because if any of the others get to
close to him he screams. I've also noticed he lays sternal with his
head tucked underneath. None of my others do this, is it a symptom
of something else?? Any info would be appreciated. thanks,
Pamela
