Subject: Where to find slippery elm bark

I've always had luck finding it in health food stores, but I
suppose a GNC might carry it as well.

I've never been of the mind to give animals or people any kind
of treatment "just because" -- there has to be a reason. I
would not recommend giving your ferret slippery elm bark just
to give it. Also, I would not recommend using it with ferrets
who have tummy troubles without seeing a vet -- oftentimes
ulcers can be fixed up with medicine and a little TLC, and the
slippery elm just treats the symptoms.

Good luck!
