Yes. As you can imagine after 20 years we've had a lot of ferrets
with a lot of surgeries. So far we have been fortuneate and have
never lost a ferret in or after surgery. Granted, part of that is luck,
but part is that our vets do tests beforehand to spot as many
hidden problems in advance as they can. I think that was Holly's
major point: that presurgical testing is very important to
survivability. I have to agree with each of you: her on the
importance of such testing, and you on the usual success of
such surgeries.
