Subject: Slippery elm bark

Is it OK to give slippery elm bark if I am giving amoxi and biaxin
to treat an ulcer? Will it affect the absorption or is it OK as
long as I space them apart? Also What is more important in choosing
a kibble for your ferret the main ingredients or if it a cat food or
specifically made for ferrets? I have always chosen foods that seem
to have the best ingredients, now I am just not sure? Should older
ferrets have less protien then younger ferrets? Oh I really wish
there was an encyclopedia on our little ferret friends. There are
always so many unanswered questions and all we really want for our
loves is to provide them with the best possible care!!!!!
