Subject: Adopted Ferret
I just adopted a year and a half year old male from a guy that
obviously did not take care of the little guy. He is very skinny and
frail. My other Ferret is just a few months older and is in very
good health with normal growth and wieght. The new adopted ferret
was previously fed dog food. I only feed my ferrets Marshall Premium
Diet Ferret food with an occasional cat treat and a liquid vitamin
mixed in their water. My question, Is there any way to get some
wieght on this little guy? And also I have noticed that he has a
tough time chewing his food. It takes a while and he will suck on
the pieces of food to soften it. Any comments on this.
