Subject: Re: food

The most important aspect with kibble is that the ferret will eat it
willingly and enough to keep their weight at a good level. As much as we
all want to buy the best for the little ones, if they refuse to eat it
won't do them any good. The best kibble is the best quality kibble that
any particular ferret will eat well.

I have several that eat the lower quality grocery store food because that
is what they ate before they came to me and they are unwilling to switch
(I serve 20+ varieties of kibble) to a better quality food so I supplement
them with a liquid nutritional recipe twice a day. This way they get
their 'junk' food and their 'quality' food. Now if I could just get my
diet supplemented as well....

hugs to all. tle
