Lets put a few facts on the table here, it is not normal for
any animal in its natural state to have access to food 24
hours a day and a food as poor as any kibble is very
unnatural. It will not harm a ferret to go without food for 24
hours, most ferret owners in the UK only feed once a day and
the ferrets are far healthier for it. Some like myself sill
fast their ferrets one or two days a month to make sure all
hidden food is eaten. This a ferret must have food every 4
hours is a complete myth and wants ending now. If my 14 year
old jill can be harmlessly fasted two days a month any non
pancreatic ferret can. I believe allowing access to kibble
24/7 is doing far more harm than good to healthy ferrets.
