Subject: More on Gastric Ulcers
I did call our vet today and explained the symptoms our
ferret has been having: Weight loss, appetite weak, loose
watery stools often, and now drooling. He has his teeth
cleaned last month and when he was on an antibiotic for a week
I noticed that his loose stools were almost gone. Today my vet
told me to grind up a 300 mg tablet of Tagament into 5 cc of
syrup and give 1/4 cc twice a day. He didn't want to include
any antibiotic which concerns me somewhat. From stuff I've
read the protocol for treating ulcers includes antibiotics.
