I'm not a vet. It's okay to give them a little lactose free milk, but
there isn't much benefit to doing so. Heavy Whipping Cream can be used
to add a lot of fat to their diet, but it has enough lactose to bother
some ferrets, so I take 1/2 of a Lactaid tablet, crush it and mix it
with a tbsp of the cream. Works eonders and will put a few ounces on
them in no time.
