Subject: Heart x-rays, please have a look
My Mason was acting really ill a year ago, he became very lethargic, weak
and depressed over night. The vets did a blood test which was normal and
also did an x-ray but my vet didn't know how to interpret the x-ray so sent
it off to an exotics specialist who thought that Mason had cardiomyopathy or
a tumour by his heart. Well, Mason recovered, he was really sick for 2 days
(he looked like he was dying!) and on the 3rd day he was back to normal like
nothing had ever been wrong. My vets put him on Enacard as they thought he
most likely had cardiomyopathy.
Today I thought we should have another x-ray done to see whether anything
has changed. To see whether he really does have cardiomyopathy because he
hasn't deteriorated and no sign of fluid in his chest and I thought if he
doesn't have it then there's no need to continue with the Enacard... We
have a new small animal vet, she said the x-ray didn't look normal but
doesn't know what's wrong. It hasn't changed much at all. Last year his
lungs looked more congested, now they look clearer.
So I photographed the x-rays from last year and today and put them on a web

I'd really appreciate it if people/ vets could have a look at the x-rays to
see whether anything is wrong. To see whether you can actually see anything
on the x-rays. It was my friend's idea to photograph x-rays, she's done it
loads of times so I thought I give it a try... It would be great to find
out whether anything is wrong and if so, what...
