I just learned about it a year or two ago myself. Dyne is a high
calorie liquid diet and dietary supplement.
To copy from the Jeffers catalog....
"Each oz. provides approximately 150 calories containing vitamins
and minerals that maintain constant therapeutic blood levels. May
be fed as is to animals that are unable to eat or top dressed over
the normal diet. Helps combat dehydration, improves weight gain and
increases stress resistance."
I add a teaspoon of it to each jar of chicken baby food. I mostly
use it to add calories. I also use it with wildlife babies who are
not thriving.
