Subject: ferret Vaccinations and other yearly needs?

Are distemper and rabies the only yearly shots a ferret needs? I have a
new puppy and wanted to know if there is anything else the vet does not
think the ferrets needs heartworm and has not said the ferrets need anything
else. But after seeing the distemper pic from a recent post I am now
wondering is there anything else I can prevent my fuzzies from.
