Subject: Back injury meds??
I am home now and have the names of the meds they gave Koda for his
back injury they are Prednisone(1mg/ml)given .5ml 2x day for 5
days .5ml once daily for 5 days then .5ml every other day until gone
and Diazepam (2mg/ml)given .5ml once daily until gone. I noticed
today when we give the Diazepam Koda is unable to do anything for
most of the rest of the evening. Does this mean the dose is to high
(or is this what the vet wanted) should I call the vet to discuss
this side effect? This is only the second day we have given the meds
yesterday when I gave Koda the Diazepam and he couldn't (wouldn't or
didn't want to) get up I just thought he was very tired and must be
in a lot of pain but now I'm not sure since it happened again in
about the same amount of time about10-15min after giving it to him.
maybe I am just being overly worried thanks for listening
