Subject: Straining to poop....or something.
Binks just did something very strange. He was standing in the middle
of the floor having a "spasm." The stance was that of a ferret
pooping. or trying to poop. I picked him up and looked him
over........and his anus was having spasms which stopped when I
examined him. I let him go......and he's been bounding around like
usual.
The litter box shows poop production seems to be fine. After I
scooped out the poop and examined it for anything strange......I
rechecked him and noticed he had poofed alittle. (Binks is neutered
but has not be descented.)
Does anyone know what just happened? I'm going to watch poop
production and I gave him some hairball remedy to be safe. Overall,
he's acting fine now. And he's been eating and drinking normally. I
plan to moniter the situation VERY carefully.I just wanted to know if
anyone had any idea of what was going on.
