Subject: NEED HELP
Hello,
Annika has been put back on all three medicines (Flagyl, famotidine, and clavamox). She is not appearing to get better and her appetite is
getting worse. Last night all I could get into her was some water and about a teaspoon of food. Today she drank more water and ate
some food, she has not had her meds yet. I went to give them to her and found her vomiting in her cage. The vomit was very clear. It
had some specks of food but I imagine it was mainly water. Her stools (I have been force feeding her) are still very back and tarry, and
she is incredibly lethargic and has litte or no strength in her back legs. The only time she really seems to show much energy is when she
is getting her meds. HELP! Any suggestions or ideas on what I might be able to do to help her. My vet is not open to the idea of changing
annika from the Flagyl to the Biaxin. She seemed to think she only needed the Clavamox anyhow... but obiviously this is not working.
I love my girl, and I don't want to loose her, at the same time I don't want her to suffer.
