Here in the UK we use combined dog vaccines and I've so far not heard
of there being a problem. We use half a vial per ferret. I don't
want to gainsay a vet but....some vets do suggest that ferrets are
vaccinated yearly, but I've heard that it best to vaccinate once
every two years and that is also the recommendation of the
manufacturers of the dog vaccine. Obviously there are no hard and
fast recommedations as it is not officially for ferrets.
I also not heard of the initial 2 doses being used.
