Hi,
My ferret Rigley just passed away three weeks ago. He was diagnosed
with Lymphosarcoma in January. We brought him to the vet because he
wasn't his normal playful self. Our vet told us that his spleen was
enlarged as well as his lymphnodes. He said that the cancer was
advanced in his spleen and liver. He didn't give him long to live,
maybe a month or so.We were shocked because he really didn't show any
signs of being sick. We decided to try chemotheropy. He was on a
vincristine and cytoxine combination. He did really well even though
he never went into remission. He lived about 3 more months than
expected. He had good days and bad days, but his quality of life was
pretty good for those few months. I hope that things go well for you
and your
ferret.
