Subject: Could this be a stroke?

Hi All,

Can ferrets have a stroke? Not heat stroke. Arterial . I have looked in the archives, Dr. Williams site and Miamiferret. The only thing that is touched on is heat stroke. I have a ferret that has all the signs I would think would accompany a stroke(heavy, fast breathing, lack of coordination, walks in circles, favors to the right and a general sign, he will only eat wet food, I am feeding him CG with a/d in it, no water at all, and the most general sign, hind-end weakness). I have thought about an ear infection. His BG being out of wack(he has insulinoma) or even a tooth problem. He has a vet appointment today(the earliest I could get.)

If anyone has ever experienced this or has any ideas, please let me know.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Donna(and my 7 fuzzy owners)
