Yes. LIke cardiomyopathy, kidney disease can cause clots to be
formed and thrown. If they go to the brain these thromboses
look similar to what folks think of as stroke symptoms. We had
a female who did it with advanced cardiomyopathy, and a male
who did it with kidney disease. (See earlier post if want details.)
