Subject: Re: Juvenile cataracts AND lump removal

You will find that your baby will get along just fine and will adjust as his sight fails. The only problem he should have is if he is put in a new enviroment. Then you would need to help your furkid adjust. My little man Rocky was diagnosed with cataracts at about the same age. He lived to be seven years old and the loss of sight never seemed to slow him down.
As for lump removal and biopsy, Gabby had a lump removed two months ago. The vet felt it was nothing but we decided to do a biopsy anyway. Dr. was totally blown away when the biopsy came back malignant!!! Luckily when he excised the lump he took extra surrounding tissue out too. Even though the lump was malignant the surrounding tissue showed no sign of disease. Gabby should live a long, healthy life.
