Subject: Re: hind end weakness update

0.4 mg of pred twice a day is a small to medium size dose. It should
have some effect rather quickly.

A blood glucose of 62 mg/dl is low (normal is 90-125), but it doesn't
seem low enough that it should be causing multiple seizures. Perhaps
during these times it's dropping much, much lower. One of mine has
regular glucose readings in the 60's and he receives no medication,
only a couple meals a day of high protein chicken baby food and A/D.
He's a normal, active ferret.

I'd talk to the vet about increasing the pred dose. You have lots of
room for increase.
