I use a strict quarantine while waiting for results. UV gets back to us
within 3 days. Thats changing clothes, disinfection, etc. I draw blood,
ferrets are in another room and they stay there until test results are back.
My regular ferrets or retests remain together.

The POCT tests were done by a vet in the situations where multiple tests were
given at the same time on the same ferrets with differing results. These
tests that were run were first on saliva and then on blood. Queries from Dr.
Stephon on the correctness of the test samples were answered and eliminated -
3 minutes of swabbing and then 3 minutes in the solution. Food was with held
for over an hour.

Then they were asked to centrifuge the blood before sending in the blood. The
results were different from the previous tests and the results took more than
3 weeks to get back from Avecon. So I believe that this effects both the POCT
and the ELISA.

I won't do Avecon - and I can't recommend them and I don't trust the results
of the tests.
