Two distemper vaccinations given three to four weeks apart are
recommended for adult ferrets that have not previously established
and maintained immunity (this is from a vet reviewed article).

As for the risk to your ferrets by bringing this ferret into your
home... if yours are up to date on their vaccinations, it's probably
pretty small, though maybe not zero.
