Subject: Flagyl for Spook
Well after another episode of diahorrea and not eating and now
straining to poop, the vet seems to think that the original complaint
(impacted anal gland) never quite recovered and took a rectal biopsy
to test for heliobacter.
So, now he is on Flagyl, and hearing how absolutely yuk it is for
ferrets, I wondered if there were any tips on administering this
before I give his first dose tonight?? Any ideas would be
appreciated.
PS. He doesn't have a sweet tooth, and doesn't like Nutrical or
things like that so I don't think treats after the fact will help,
but I'll give anything a go!!
