Subject: RE: Baby food?
Hi Amy,
We have found that three feedings of 20 cc per feeding is the minimum amount
of baby food (take the metal lid off and heat the food in a micro to 15
seconds) that will permit the ferret from losing ground. We have ferrets
living off of a container of Chicken or Turkey baby food given to them twice
daily (two containers per day. Unfortunately I have not read your previous
posts but a cocktail of Clavamox and Metronidazole (about .2 to .3 cc) given
after .2 cc Pepto should be very helpful for gastric problems.
<< How much baby food is enough? My Moose is eating nothing but babyfood and
has been for a few weeks now. I know the guidelines for duck soup etc.
However, how much babyfood does a ferret need in order to survive off of
just the baby food.>>
