After trying alot of ways for my fuzzies to take their meds the one
and foolproof way for my guys was to add a little heavy whipping
cream to the liquid med....they may not take it at first but try
putting some of this on his nose and soon he will be begging for
it..now this works on all 7 of mine and I also give it as a treat a
couple times of week. If anything it helps to add weight on
them...From what I hear flagyl is very nasty tasting but so far it
has worked with the Baytril they were taking along with several
others types of meds... It is worth a shot since you have nothing to
loose anyway....as a side note it is best if you warm the heavy
whipping cream up first in a very small bowl or dish since they they
(or my guys anyway) hate to lick anything cold...Good luck...it is
always a challenge trying to develope ways to out smart these guys...
