Subject: Yet more questions about Fig (Neurological?)

I am beginning to feel that Fig's hind end weakness is
neurological. My vet told me that he is out of ideas and I'm
kind of on my own now. I did a few neural tests with her today
(deep pain, superficial pain, proprioception). She detected
both deep (pinch) and superficial (pinprick) pain, but no
proprioception. When I turn her hind feet topside down she
will not correct it. When I touch her foot to a table edge,
she won't step onto it. It is breaking my heart to watch her
try to play with her cagemate but she has no use of her hind
legs 80% of the time. Her radiographs were normal.

Is it possible that she could have a back injury/ pressure on
a nerve or spine that showed nothing on rads? What tests
should be done to look into this? Ultrasound? She's 2. Would a
person suspect neoplasia? Injury would top the list I suppose.

We've gone from helicobacter infection, to irritable bowel, to
embolism... now I am thinking some kind of nerve damage could
be it.
