Subject: Re: Changing or just improving a ferrets diet.
My sister and brother-in-law are the owners of these two addoriable
ferrets named Spunky and Spicey. I now live with them and I am a
animal lover from way back I have done animal rescue for years back
in California, mostly with dogs and a few cats but I have also
worked with Wildlife rescue and Rehabilitation and Release. Well the
problem is that they have them on Ferret kibble with occational cat
food mixed in and I am kinda taking over the care of them and I
think that there should be a better diet for them, I have always
fixed most of my animals food myself and my dogs are all on dry dog
food but that isn't the only thing in there diet its actually only
about 1/3 of there diet. So could someone please tell me were to
start with changing Spunky and Spiceys diet and how it should be
done. At this time I pretty much know little about there natural
diet except that it consists of a large portion of meat. So please
some one out there help me get on the right road to keep them
