Thanks so much for your reply. I have now read about PC and I am feeling
better about what is happening with my ferret. My biggest concern had been
that I didn't quite understand the condition.
I have started Lily on chloramphenicol. She continues to do well, for a
ferret of her age. Now that I know the symptoms of PC, I can get her
treatment at the first sign of problems so as to avoid traumatizing her
further with allowing her symptoms to get so severe.
