Subject: ADV testing (Fl. Ferret shelter) - address updates etc.
I first off apologige for the cross posting of this message...
I just wanted to write briefly to let all of you out there that are
interested to know that we have recently begun ADV testing our shelter
kids. All of our 19 current residents tested NEGATIVE! What a relief!
Blood was professionally draw from each ferret (i.e. not from the toe
nail) and sent to United for the CIEP test. It is in our plan now to
test each new arrival while they are in there isolation period.
Also, please note our change of mailing address. Our web-site is also
in the processing of being moved and we will be easier to find at
