Subject: Re: Enlarged Bronchioles

Thanks to all for the help....Conan is going to be
4 1/2 yrs old next month...the only tests the vet
conducted were 2 sets of x-rays (done at two different
times)...the bronchioles she discussed are related to
the lungs, she mentioned inefficiency in the transfer
of oxygen...she first thought he had heart worms
due to what appeared to be an enlarged heart....well
that just the angle of the x-ray, hence I'm not feeling
very good about this vet....I called her today, she
didn't bother in returning my phone call, any good
ferret vets in Tampa?? ...the closest I found through
this forum was Port Richey....thanks again!

[If there actually is an enlarged heart then it is important not only to check for heartworms but to check for cardiomyopathy. That also could cause some of the symptoms.

Look in the Both the shelter list and in the vets list in teh Files section at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Ferret-Health-list
and look in
http://www.miamiferret.org/fhc for that vet list
and use a search engine like
http://www.google.com to find STARFerrets and to find Quincy's ferret vet list. Also check in
http://www.ferretcentral.org
