Hmmm, Tampa is a big area.... There aren't any *list recommended* vets
in Tampa, but that doesn't mean there aren't good vets here.
I use Dr. Melissa Curry at VCA Oldsmar. (Tampa Rd. west of the flea
market) She's not what I would call a ferret expert, but she is very
good, has a number of ferret clients and is very friendly,
enthusiastic, and dedicated.
If you have unusual problems like this one, you might consider Dr.
Kemmerer in Gainesville instead. Look her up at
http://www.atlantic.net/~weah/. That's too far to go for routine care,
but she has the knowledge to handle special cases like this.
