Subject: Re: Ferret who is drinking alot

Hi
Our Muffin was doing that but making sure i watched..(long story)Then i
started following her around & we found green pee at times. This came &
went. She then started grooming me...would NOT leave me alone. We took her
to the Vet yesterday. She has a urinary tract infection.
I firmly believe she was trying to tell me.
This can be very painful & deadly...
Make sure to get a UA while you're there at the Vets....inexpensive but
necessary.
Good Luck..

Also wanted to add to Mikes post about being calm when giving meds, sub
Q'ing,or shots...It makes ALL the difference...i used to freak,causing
undo stress to my kids & making me crazy....i have learned to place
myself "some where else" and go about it like it's a normal part of
their day...;)
I SWEAR i can now give any kind of med or food to any of them..in fact i
got sooo good when our Bruiser (Bless him;)was dying...i was able to
give shots, sub Q fluids, sneak 6 icky meds into his chicken gravy and
lovingly feed him, without him even caring...just disassociate
yourself.(if i can do it,anyone can;)
Now THAT'S good;)
Love & Health...
Nurse Tara (haha)
