I've had them since last year. They are both up to
date on their vaccinations. What do I have the vet
check for besides blood glucose levels? <
First of all, due to their ages, I believe they need check-ups
every 6 months. I've worked out my vaccination schedule where
all of mine go in twice a year (January-rabies;
July-distemper).
Once they are about 3 y.o. I like to have a CBC done at least
once a year. This includes blood glucose, among other things.
I have their teeth cleaned at the same time, if necessary.
We don't routinely do urine or fecal unless there is a reason
to. Some may disagree.
