Well, since we all get ferrets at different times, they're on all
sorts of schedules. I sat down with my vet earlier this year and he
figured it out for me. I think 4 of them had distemper in January
Everyone (7) had rabies in January. Those 7 plus Darby (#8 who came
in February; had distemper and rabies) will have distemper in July.
Now, I have Daisy (#9). She is in the process of 2 distemper/1
rabies and will not be part of the July distemper, of course. She
will be a month late on her distemper next year.

The main concern was not letting the rabies get over 1 year (for
liability concerns). The distemper should not be a problem to let
it go a month or two. I don't think anyone is getting the distemper
more than a month late.

I know this can be an over-vaccinating thing but my vet doesn't
think it's a problem one time. As I learned in January, it was
totally exhausting taking all of them at once but well worth it once
it was over.
