Thanks all for the input! I was concerned about the 10 hour fast, but
I'm not a vet. I'm not sure where we are going to go from here
though. I fear with his BG as low as they are now, the Insulinoma is
advanced considerably. Although I still feel we have a very good vet,
willing to listen to ideas, I'm afraid he may not have the experience
to handle a pancreotomy should it be neccessary. He seems to be well
informed about any ferret health problems we have had, yet overlooks
the specifics of a ferrets health vs dog/cat. We live out here in the
corn fields of Iowa, and "ferret" vets are very hard to find. Does
anyone know of one within 150 miles of Sioux City?
