Subject: megaesophagus

While very uncommon, megaesophagus may not be as rare in ferrets as
one would think. I don't keep any records, but I'd say I've talked
to at least six people in the last year whose ferrets were diagnosed
with megaesophagus. These weren't guesses or a layman's opinion, but
vet diagnosed. Your right in that it may be out there more than we
know, but it just isn't published.
