No, Clyde was diagnosed today with ECE, we are in the process of
giving the prescribed medications and following the plans given by 2
Vets. Clyde has never had a problem swallowing, he had diarrhea, was
listless and not eating or drinking. He is doing much better since
my first post, but still isn't out of the woods.
I do have another question for those out there that have had ferrets
with ECE, once they have it and get over it, can the catch it again,
or does their system build up antibodies again any future ECE
exposure?
It would really be nice and much appreciated if some of the vets out
there would pitch in with their thoughts. :-)
