Hey Chrissy, I'm in PA too!!
My ferrets' diet is totally ferret and just over the
last 6 months or so I have been integrating some hard
l/d (perscrition food)
My babies also have a supplemental diet twice daily of
wet a/d & l/d and a mixture of vitamins.
As for litter, I use newspaper. They live in a 4ft
tall 3 floored cage. The middle section became the
potty floor, so I just fold the paper to fit. I have
also heard of some people shredding the paper. But the
full size sheets work fine for me. Easy clean-up!
(folds up nicely and can be put into a plastic grocery
bag.)
