Subject: strange looking feces
I have a couple new ferrets and I noticed their feces, although of
normal color and amount, has a strange consistancy. It's not runny,
but it doesn't hold it's form and it looks like it is made up of
small seeds. Could it be just undigested food? When I got them they
were eating Iams kitten and I am trying to switch them over to a
ferret food. The other ferret I already had has always had normal
looking feces and today I noticed hers looked like theirs. The one I
had originally is six years old with insolinoma and I am working hard
to get her to eat enough to stay healthy so I am worried either her
food isn't benefitting her body or worse, they all got some sort of
illness.
