That's a good attitude. If you really want her to switch, though, try
mixing the foods together. Eventually she will learn that the ferret
bits are food, too, and meanwhile she still has the kitten food bits to
eat.
Nutro is great for cats - but for ferrets I'm not so sure. The numbers
are good, but the problem with it is that it's packed with rice.
Unless I'm not paying attention (always possible), corn is much better
for them than rice, since it has a much lower post-prandial glucose
response. In other words, a smaller blood sugar spike after eating. A
smaller spike means a smaller sugar crash later. Most of the better
ferret foods use corn filler instead of the rice.
